SCCCC Today

In the last few years, whilst some services such as the "Berereavement Support Scheme" and the "Looking after the Whole Person Scheme" have come to a natural end, a number of additional services have been developed.

Most recently, thanks to new funding from Objective One and the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund , SCCCC has set up two new local schemes, Care in Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe and Care in Gleadless Valley. We also maintain a close working relationship with Care in Crosspool.

Today SCCCC can offer a network of services that supplement the wide range of health and social care resources in the city. Our aim remains the same - we work with our partners in the churches, the statutory sector and the community to support and improve the well being of older people in Sheffield.
