Who we are
The Executive Committee
This is a group of people who voluntarily oversee and guide SCCCC. They include SCCCC's Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer and nominated representatives from different Christian denominations, and people from relevent professional and non professional backgrounds.
The Executive Committee meets monthly and is responsible for the effective operation of the organisation and decision making about all aspects of its services. Members of the Executive Committee give their time, skills and experience on a voluntary basis and make an immense contribution to the quality of SCCCC's activities.
SCCCC is currently reviewing its governance structures and working towards incorporation.
Volunteers
SCCCC is privileged to have over 130 people who volunteer in different capacities, some of these people are regular Friendly Visitors who make a social visit every week or fortnight, and others are involved in a one off capacity helping out with requests for support as they arise. Without the commitment and flexibility of the volunteers, the majority of SCCCC support to older people would not be able to happen.

- Coordinator care in Lowedges Batemoor and Jordanthorpe
- Coordinator Care in Gleadless Valley
- Three Hospital After Care Co-ordinators, Covering the Northern General, the Royal Hallamshire and Weston Park Hospitals.
- Two Accident and Emergency to Home Scheme Co-ordinators

There is also a sessional worker for the EscortCare Scheme.
